What moves the price most
- Dates. December to April and any US long weekend price 20-35% higher than September or early November.
- Group size. Villas and boats are fixed-cost, so every extra person lowers the per-head number until you outgrow the property.
- Bedrooms, not beds. A 6-bedroom villa for 12 costs far less than 12 people wanting their own room.
- Sunset vs midday boat. Sunset catamarans carry a premium in high season.
- Bottle count. Table minimums are set by bottles, not headcount — one extra bottle can be $250-400.
Where groups overspend
Three things cost bachelorette groups money for no return: booking a resort day pass when the villa already has a pool, paying per-taxi at 3am instead of holding one van for the night, and buying a shared party boat ticket for a group big enough to charter privately. Above roughly eight people, a private boat is usually cheaper per head than shared tickets — and you control the music and the schedule.
A realistic mid-range budget
Ten guests, three nights, November. Five-bedroom villa with pool and staff, private catamaran on day two, one club table on the final night, van on standby for all transfers, chef for two dinners. That lands around USD 780 per person all in. Move it to March and the same plan is roughly USD 950.
