How long is a typical charter?
Four hours is standard; six to eight hour charters are available and worth it if you want a lunch stop plus a sunset return.
Can we bring our own music and drinks?
Confirm music playback, connection options, equipment and volume limits with the operator. Food, drinks and any DJ are included only if agreed in the written booking; do not assume a particular boat has Bluetooth.
Is a yacht charter priced per person or per boat?
Per boat. That is why yachts get cheaper per head as your group grows, and why we always quote the vessel, then show what it works out to per person.
Yacht or catamaran for our group?
Yacht for 8–15 people who want privacy and speed. Catamaran from about 20 people up, where deck space and cost per person matter more than pace.
What is included in the charter price?
Crew, fuel, the route, snorkeling gear and normally an open bar. Catering, a DJ, water toys and marina transfers are quoted as separate line items so you can see them.
Where do charters leave from?
Mostly Cap Cana Marina, with some departures from Bávaro. We pick the marina based on where your group is staying.
What happens in bad weather?
The captain decides whether sailing is safe. Confirm the operator’s written weather policy before booking, including any alternative date, cancellation, rescheduling or refund conditions. No particular alternative or refund should be assumed.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
On most vessels yes, and it can save money on a large group. We will tell you which boats allow it before you choose.
